Salary

$48,000 – $72,6000 annually

Summary

The Communications Coordinator reports to the Communications Manager and supports the Strategic Planning and Communications department in executing and monitoring communications strategies. This role involves creating public relations and communications materials, tracking deadlines and deliverables, reporting analytics on communications campaigns, and ensuring a consistent brand image. The Communications Coordinator writes and proofs a variety of different communications content, maintains the website and intranet, gathers and distributes news mentions, monitors analytics, and creates reports detailing the successes and failures of communications campaigns and strategies. The Coordinator develops and maintains the communications calendar, visual image library, and branded communications document database. This role also places orders for branded and communications materials, monitors advertising placements, and coordinates meetings, budget and travel for the department.

Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, English or a related field and minimum of one year of related experience.

  • Proficient with photo and video editing and web applications including WordPress and SharePoint.
