District Member Services Representative I – Conifer

Salary

$19.61 – $26.34 hourly

Qualifications

A high school diploma or its equivalent is required, plus experience in the operation of office equip­ment. Also required is a knowledge of basic accounting procedures. A minimum of one year of cus­tomer service experience is necessary. Accurate typing and basic computer skills are required. Must operate a ten-key calculator by touch. Must have experience with Microsoft Office.

Basic Duties

Signs up new consumer accounts and processes applications for the same. Accesses, revises and updates information on consumer accounts, billing history, and all other consumer information as necessary. Receives consumer payments for electric service daily over the counter, by mail, and through the district office night drop. Balances cash drawer of consumer payments daily. Assists with consumer requests for disconnect and transfer of service to new consumers as well as consumer telephone calls requesting restoration of electric service during power out¬ages within normal working hours. Receives and forwards all telephone and other messages for all District personnel when they are unavailable in the district office. Maintains an adequate office supply inventory.
