Free shred event in Parker on Saturday, Oct. 9

Gather your sensitive paperwork and join us at Salisbury Park, 11920 S. Motsenbocker Road in Parker, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. (or when the truck is full) Saturday, Oct. 9, for a free shred event. The event is hosted in partnership with CORE, the Parker Police Department, and the Parker Senior Center. All of your confidential information will be shredded by DocuVault, who will ensure the documents are destroyed securely.

Allowable Items (*Please limit to three copy paper boxes or kitchen garbage bags per person):
· Bank statements
· Bills
· Carbon copies of checks
· Credit card offers
· Medical information
· Old checks
· Pay stubs
· Receipts
· Retirement statements

Prohibited Items:
· Aluminum cans
· Newspapers
· Phone books
· Plastic

When you arrive, you will be directed by volunteers to pass through the event. Please remain in your vehicle at all times. Volunteers will not be allowed into the cabin of your vehicle. All shredded items should be placed in the trunk or truck bed.
