GIS Analyst I

Salary

$43.37 – $57.77/Hour Non-Exempt

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent certificate required. Undergraduate degree in Geomatics, Engineering Technology, or GIS or 5 or more years of practical equivalent experience required. Willing to consider equivalent combination of education and experience in substitute for degree. Proficient with Esri Desktop applications and extensions. Competent with Relational Database technologies: Oracle. Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook. Proficient with general office equipment.

Responsibilities

Maintains the enterprise GIS database and produces standard maps and spatial data using ArcGIS in support engineering, operations, and planning projects. Converts GIS data to CAD, Engineering Analysis, Outage Management, and other various formats for use by other departments. Assists Engineering and Operations personnel with field data collection processes and technologies. Reviews GIS data for accuracy by applying established specifications.
