Member Energy Solutions Director
Salary
$147,636 – $178,640 annually
Summary
The Member Energy Solutions Director will support the strategic goals of CORE Electric Cooperative by creating and managing CORE’s electric vehicle member strategy. The Director would also develop, implement, and oversee other member-facing projects and Distributed Energy Resource (DER) programs. This role will focus on the member, modeling CORE’s values, aligning the energy solutions to CORE’s vision and strategy, helping to create a culture of innovation as well as enabling creative thinking, and promote positive interactions within CORE. Leads the strategic planning process to pursue a comprehensive strategy that would include EV residential & commercial programing, public charging, community education & outreach, economic development, and strategic partnership strategy. Leverage internal & external resources for market research, to design, direct and implement overall strategy. Develops policies and programs for the integration of DER’s onto CORE’s distribution system. Directs the execution of other member-facing projects to assist CORE with management of integrated distribution planning, distributed energy resource programs (solar PV, non-solar distributed generation, electric vehicles, battery storage, demand response, energy efficiency) including all DER interconnections.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related field required. Prior management experience required as well as training or experience in leadership, management, utilities, and budgeting preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in coordinating a wide range of programs, products, and services, specifically EV program development and implementation. Must have experience leading teams, projects, and employees. Must have experience with project management, Colorado State statutes, program analysis, budgeting and reporting. Experience in marketing is desired.
Candidate must have experience in preparing or assisting in the preparation of other financial and statistical exhibits and analyses, reports and studies related to the strategic company goals and in support of other related areas of the Cooperative (i.e., forecasting, supply side-planning, accounting, auditing, regulatory affairs, etc.)
