Salary

$51.70 Hourly

Qualifications

This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a Substation Technical apprenticeship or vocational degree is required. Must be knowledgeable in substation operations as well as equipment maintenance and testing practices. Must be familiar with computers including the programming of equipment using laptop computers. Must be able to read electrical prints including one-line, three-line, and wiring diagram drawings for troubleshooting purposes. Must have the desire and ability to pursue training and increase job knowledge. A valid Colorado Driver’s License is required. A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a current DOT medical certificate are preferred but not required.

Basic Duties

Responsible to the Substation Supervisor for general guidance and direction in maintaining and repairing substation equipment and facilities.
