Total Rewards Specialist


$74,636 – $90,310 annually


In this role, the Total Rewards Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the following policies and programs: life, health, vision, dental, and disability insurances, voluntary enrollment plans, retirement plan administration, long-term care, and retiree benefits. Responsible for shaping programs that reward employee contributions and contribute to the total rewards philosophy. Compensation responsibilities include oversight of programs to ensure pay is equitable, competitive, and within the organization’s philosophy in accordance with state and federal laws. This role evaluates the delivery of compensation to include base salary, recognition, and other rewards for use and deployment throughout the organization. This role directly impacts our ability to attract and retain the best talent and requires a high level of customer service to ensure effective delivery of benefits and compensation to employees.


An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
• One to three years of experience in related areas such as benefits, job classification and compensation, and/or compliance preferred.
• Preference will be given to those who have performed as an HR Generalist, and with a focus in the areas of compensation and/or benefits.
• PHR/SHRM-CP preferred, not required.
• 1+ years of hands-on benefits administration experience, including work with a benefits broker and multiple vendors
• Demonstrable understanding of the Colorado Pay Equity Law
• Extensive knowledge of FLSA and human resource laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations’ systems finance, human resources, and other employee software.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
