On Wednesday, Sept. 23, CORE celebrated the opening of Canyon Peak Power, a new natural gas peaking plant developed in partnership with Kindle Energy. Located near Bennett, this facility will help balance renewable energy resources with dependable generation, an important step in CORE’s energy transition.
Representatives from Kindle Energy, Stanley Engineering, GE Vernova and Fagen, Inc. joined CORE for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating this innovative collaboration.
Canyon Peak Power will provide generation to complement renewable resources, ensuring CORE members have reliable energy when it matters most.
