The COVID-19 pandemic prompted IREA to delay the annual meeting from its original date in April to Sept. 17. IREA monitored state health guidelines and decided to hold this year’s annual meeting outdoors.
This turned into a great opportunity to showcase our new 400-kilowatt solar carport at our Sedalia headquarters. Meeting attendees sat under its shade while hearing remarks from IREA Board President Tim White and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Mooney. Those in attendance asked questions of IREA’s board regarding topics such as renewable energy and system improvements.
The 2021 annual meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021, at IREA’s headquarters.
