The annual meeting of the membership of CORE Electric Cooperative will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023, at CORE headquarters, 5496 N. U.S. Highway 85, Sedalia, CO 80135. The meeting will include:
1. The presentation of reports covering the previous fiscal year.
2. Election of directors.
3. All other business that may properly come before the meeting.
Please note: Registration is from 9 to 10 a.m. the day of the meeting.
Director elections for Districts 1, 2, 4 and 6 will take place in 2023. Director elections for Districts 3, 5 and 7 will take place in 2025.
The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 created two new standards under the Public Utilities Regulatory Policy Act that certain utilities, including CORE, must consider adopting. The two standards relate to the promotion of demand-response and flexibility practices and electrification of transportation.
CORE’s Board of Directors adopted a process to receive public comment as part of their consideration of these new standards.
