SEDALIA, Colo. – CORE Electric Cooperative (CORE), a member-owned electric cooperative based in Sedalia, Colo., announced its Board of Directors has selected Pam Feuerstein as Chief Executive Officer, effective July 25, 2024.
In her role Pam will oversee CORE’s operations including cooperative management, financial stewardship, and operational planning and implementation. She will lead CORE’s responsible energy transition through strategic contracts and partnerships while engaging with CORE’s members and communities.
“The Board has worked closely with Pam during her tenure at CORE and we are confident she has the expertise and strategic vision to lead our cooperative into the future,” said Timothy White, President of the CORE Board of Directors.
“I look forward to leading CORE as we continue on our path within the dynamic energy industry to serve our more than 180,000 members,” said Pam Feuerstein, CORE’s CEO. “I want to thank the Board of Directors for their trust and support, and our employees for their dedication and hard work.”
Pam has more than 25 years of experience in the energy industry as an executive and engineer. She joined CORE in 2010 and most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for the cooperative for nine years. Prior to CORE, she held leadership positions at a global engineering consulting firm for more than 15 years, focusing on electric infrastructure design. Pam has been instrumental in developing CORE’s power supply transition and securing resources for CORE’s clean energy future. Also, thanks to her guidance as COO, CORE is a leader in the industry with a comprehensive maintenance and system improvement plan that continues to improve reliability and grid resiliency for CORE’s members.
Pam is a registered Professional Engineer and earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University.
