CORE is committed to protecting members, employees and our grid from wildfires. We plan to activate increased sensitivity settings on our system in anticipation of high winds throughout much of our service area the weekend of April 22-24.
These more sensitive settings will allow us to better identify and respond to trees on our lines and other potential fire hazards, but might cause service interruptions for some members. We appreciate your patience during any interruptions that might occur as we work to reduce fire risk. Call us immediately at (800) 332-9540 to report a downed power line or tree on our line, and maintain a distance of at least 10 feet.
