CORE is pleased to welcome Michael Collitt to its Board of Directors, representing District 6. Mr. Collitt was appointed at the CORE Board of Directors regular meeting in May 2026 and will serve the remainder of the seat’s current term, which ends in April 2027.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Allegheny College and has enjoyed a rewarding career as a loan officer, serving as owner of Provident Residential Mortgage and currently as Vice President of Mortgage, Commercial and Agricultural Loans at F&M Bank in Colorado. Mr. Collitt is a certified Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) Mortgage Loan Originator. He also has been a member of the I-70 Corridor Chamber of Commerce for many years and the Regional Economic Advancement Partnership since 2023, and volunteers with Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain.
Mr. Collitt has lived in District 6 since 2000, and raises cattle on a small farm with his family. He has created many lasting relationships with the surrounding communities and volunteers as a youth baseball coach for community teams.
District 6 includes the communities of Bennett, Byers, Deer Trail, Kiowa, Peoria and Strasburg.
Members within each of CORE’s seven geographic districts elect a fellow member to serve a four-year term on CORE’s Board of Directors and represent their interests in CORE business and policies. Elections for Districts 1, 2, 4 and 6 will be held in 2027. Elections for Districts 3, 5 and 7 will be held in 2029.
