Graduating high school seniors can apply for one of IREA’s education grants.
We will award 35 graduating high school seniors grants of $2,000 each to help with higher education expenses. The names of five students from each of the seven IREA director districts will be randomly drawn to receive the grants. Recipients’ names will be drawn at random during the June Board of Directors meeting.
The applicant – or applicant’s parent or guardian – must be an IREA customer to be eligible. The applicant must also:
• Be a graduating high school senior in 2021;
• Submit an acceptance letter from a college, university or vocational/trade school; and
• Return a completed entry form by 5 p.m. Friday, June 11, to any IREA office or via email.
