As part of our pole maintenance program, CORE Electric Cooperative is conducting routine electric utility pole inspections across our service territory over the coming months.
To complete this work, CORE will be partnering with Osmose Utilities Services Inc., a qualified contractor that specializes in utility pole testing and inspection. You may see Osmose crews working in or near your neighborhood during this time.
What to Expect
• Osmose crews may need to access utility poles located along roadways, utility easements or on private property. Under no circumstances will it require access to the inside of your home.
• The work typically involves visual inspections and testing of poles and does not require interruptions to electric service.
• If repairs or replacements are required, a CORE crew or CORE contractor will return to perform the necessary work at a later date.
Advance Notification
• This letter serves as a general notice that pole testing will occur in your area sometime over the next few months.
• Approximately five (5) days before work is scheduled to take place near your property, you will receive an additional notification with more specific timing information. Notifications will be made via phone call to the name and number listed on your account. Please call Member Services at 303-688-3100 to verify your contact information is accurate.
Why This Work Is Important
• Routine pole testing helps CORE identify aging or damaged equipment and address issues proactively, reducing the risk of outages and improving overall system safety and reliability for our members.
Any questions you have regarding the affected areas can be directed to Distribution Operations at 720-733-5555 or DOPS@core.coop.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding while this important work is completed.
