Operations Notice – New Colorado Statute

CORE is adjusting our operating procedures to be in line with Colorado statutes for electrical inspections and permits.

Please note that CORE provides only electric service. To cancel propane or natural gas services, your other utility providers must be contacted.

Start Residential/Commercial Service

Start Service Checklist

  • Dates to have service started may be reserved up to 30 days in advance.
  • Holidays and weekends are not available.

Stop Service

To stop electric service at an existing location with CORE, please log into SmartHub, and under Contact Us, select Report an Issue/Inquiry and in the dropdown options “Service Disconnect Request,” or call our Member Services Department at (800) 332-9540.

Stop Service Checklist

  • Dates to have service stopped may be reserved up to 30 days in advance.
  • Today’s date, holidays and weekends are not available.
  • CORE attempts to return capital credit refunds to all members who have accrued them in past years; therefore, it is important that members notify us of any mailing address changes. To update your mailing address, contact Member Services at (800) 332-9540.
