IREA is happy to announce the winning entries in our first-ever National Safety Month poster contest.
We asked students in grades one through five to create original handdrawn artwork that included an electrical safety slogan. Budding artists in our service territory did not disappoint, as we received many worthy entries.
We selected one winning entry per grade. Each respective artist will receive $100, and his or her artwork will be displayed in the lobby of IREA’s Sedalia headquarters, located at 5496 N. U.S. Highway 85, and used to promote safety via IREA’s Twitter (@IREAColorado) and Facebook (IntermountainREA) channels.
We plan to again call for entries next year and thank those who submitted their artwork for this inaugural contest.
