CORE increases sensitivity settings due to expected high winds April 4-5

In anticipation of expected high winds overnight between Monday, April 4, and Tuesday, April 5, CORE has increased the sensitivity settings of our system’s monitoring and protective devices in parts of our service area. This will put our grid on high alert and help us more quickly respond to trees on our lines and other potential fire hazards. The more sensitive settings might cause service interruptions for some members, but are important in protecting against wildfires.
