Salt Lake City Area/Integrated Projects PPA

In 1992, CORE entered into an agreement with the Western Area Power Administration to purchase energy and capacity from federal hydroelectric projects in the Colorado River Basin. The contract provides about 10 megawatts of hydroelectric capacity to CORE and approximately 36,000 megawatt-hours of energy annually. The contract was renewed in 2017 and now expires in 2057.

Loveland Area Projects PPA

CORE has an agreement with WAPA to purchase energy and capacity from federal hydroelectric projects in the Frying Pan-Arkansas and Missouri River Basins. The contract provides about 20 MW of hydroelectric capacity and 79,000 MWh of energy annually. The contract was renewed in 2014 and now expires in 2054.
