Through our matching donations, IREA and its customers so far have pledged a combined $42,000 to two organizations helping Coloradans.
Help Colorado Now is the Mile High United Way-established website for the Colorado COVID Relief Fund, which provides aid to Colorado communities and organizations affected by the outbreak of COVID-19. As of mid-June, IREA customers had donated nearly $6,000 to the fund. We will match customer donations dollar-for-dollar, up to a maximum of $10,000. Donors can activate our matching contribution by visiting www.HelpColoradoNow.org and using the gift code “IREA” in the billing information form.
Energy Outreach Colorado covers home energy costs and furnace repairs for low-income Coloradans. IREA and customers have pledged $30,000 to the organization so far this year. IREA will match customers’ contributions dollar-for-dollar, up to $75,000, through the end of the year. One-time donations can be made through either www.EnergyOutreach.org/donate-energy/ or the form on the reverse side of the payment remittance portion of your mailed monthly bill. Both options also allow you to add an ongoing contribution to your monthly bill.
