CORE Electric Cooperative is a member-owned electric utility that serves members in a 5,000-square-mile area in central Colorado. We provide reliable and affordable power to more than 375,000 residents along Colorado’s Front Range, making us one of the largest electric utility cooperatives in the U.S.
To serve members, CORE operates an electric transmission and distribution system, communications systems and member service and billing systems. We do not operate power generators, but are an independent, full-service electric utility and, as such, have career opportunities for people interested in serving our members by providing electric power reliably and efficiently.
CORE’s headquarters is in Sedalia, just minutes south of the Denver metropolitan area and on the doorstep of Colorado’s scenic Front Range. Sedalia enjoys a mild climate with more than 300 days of sunshine a year and, because of Colorado’s unique geography, it is possible to ski at one of our world-famous resorts in the morning and play a round of golf in the afternoon!
Outdoor recreational possibilities in Colorado are virtually unlimited. That, combined with the cultural amenities associated with a major metropolitan city, makes our region one of the country’s most desirable places in which to live.
With branch offices in Bennett, Conifer and Woodland Park, CORE employs 200-plus people who are dedicated to providing outstanding service to our members. We offer competitive salaries, an exceptional benefits package, state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, and a friendly, engaging and collaborative culture with the opportunity to grow and thrive personally and professionally.
