IREA is rebuilding distribution lines and replacing poles and other equipment in the Harris Park area. These changes will improve reliability and bring that part of the system up to current design standards and code requirements.
IREA’s contractor, HDR Engineering, will conduct data gathering and utility location services that may require access to some customers’ properties. This work is expected to begin in mid-March and continue for several months. Contractors will wear high-visibility safety vests while working.
Customers in the Harris Park area may receive a phone call or knock on their door requesting permission for the contractor to enter their property. IREA and HDR will coordinate with landowners on each state of the project, which has the following timeline:
