IREA closes lobbies in response to COVID-19, continues extended pay arrangements

To protect our employees and customers and prevent the spread of COVID-19, all IREA lobbies closed on Nov. 17 and will remain closed until further notice. Payment drop boxes are available at all offices and will be checked routinely; however, customers are encouraged to use electronic payments for quicker payment processing. The My Account feature is available 24/7. Visitors with scheduled business should call their IREA contact to arrange entry.

Extended payment arrangements are available for customers who are having difficulty paying their bill due to financial hardships related to COVID-19. We encourage these customers to contact us as soon as possible to set up payment arrangements. Customer Service can be reached at (800) 332-9540 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. We also continue to waive the $9.25 disconnect notice fee. IREA does not charge late fees.
